My point - which I appreciate is stating the obvious - is that if you're actually facing a choice for a particular flight between a cheap semi-flex fare or a much more expensive (easily 2/3/4 times more) published fully flex fare, there's basically zero value in the latter.
I guess the exception being when it's more likely than not that you'll need to cancel for a refund, but you want to secure a seat in advance just in case you *do* need to travel.
Is this a change to the previous situation? What were/are the refund rules for semiflex?
