Envoy Air as American Eagle is an American Eagle flight so you will get your first bag free as a Gold.
Note for the Citicard benefit you don't have to purchase your flight with the card. You just have to have the card and have your AA number in your reservation at least 7 days before the flight. Not that it matters for this flight since you are AA Gold.
Good to know about this flight. I was worried about that.
Guess I should have made my husband an authorized user on my Citi acct. I thought that simply purchasing his ticket on my card would get him a free bag. He took my card to the airport with him this morning for his flight but they told him I had to be there for him to get a free bag checked. Maybe I can request an authorized user and they will overnight the card to me and he can use it on the return.
