Very valid points, and are all true! I did read the thread. Don't know about the world hunger part (and having been extremely lucky to get a chance to work with WHO (once), that is not something to take lightly, and is a very real problem)!
Anyways, this is probably not a place to discuss that.
However, I was hoping that if you go to a city-ticketing office in-person, the agents would likely be more competent than the ones on the phone. And you can actually coach them/show them how/what award flights you want.
I heard LAX airport office is pretty good in that regard? Anyone know of their offices in IAD/DC area?
