I would like to get Citi Platinum Select/AAdvantage World MasterCard to get the 50,000 AA points. I have a current Barclay AA World Mastercard. Would having that card disqualify me from getting the 50,000 points bonus? There is a fine print that states American Airlines AAdvantage® bonus miles are not available if you have had a Citi® / AAdvantage® Platinum Select® MasterCard® opened or closed in the past 18 months.
