Repeat after me,

Rule #1 the customers perception of reality is reality. Businesses exist to attract and retain a customer. You are nothing without one.

Rule #2. When in doubt refer back to rule #1

Welcome to the post industrialist customer centric economy where the marketer is no longer in charge. Where the 1960s managers woke up and found out that their customers don't really like the taste of their "more of the same"coffee and want changes with better caffeine to quell the lizard brain. Of course this meant the airline economist (who really wanted to be a marketer) had to put away their punch card sheets and embrace changes that don't neatly fit into their slide rule calculations. Especially when no one really cares for their self proclaimed, fashionable pocket protectors. But they did care about The ever shrinking, harder to justify, value proposition being conked out a reservac II mouthpiece.

You don't have to like it. But you will probably find it more constructive (and fulfilling) if you can provide input that seeks to maximize customer value and customer return on this board. especially since (through your own admissions) you seem to have an incredible difficult time understanding the raison d'etre of FT.
