I may be wrong, but as an EXP, aren't you entitled to a hotel as part of weather-related IRROPs? If so, maybe just stay overnight in DFW at a hotel that AA puts you up in (if applicable) then start fresh tomorrow on AA metal. Would that be at all workable?
