I forgot about NWA's small 757 fleet. Delta was and still is the largest operator of the 757/767. But I'm with you that things were better before merger mania. The deck has really been stacked against the customer and despite being wildly profitable Delta's CEO is still trying to stifle competition. It's sad.

NW didn't have a small fleet
45 -200's and 16 753's (DL never had 753's before)
I believe AA was bigger on the 757/767 front at the time.
