If they had tracking, that would probably add $2 to the cost of sending each check.
Couldn't they eat the $2 fee? Pretty sure they could lay off at least five customer service reps with the time saved from answering customer questions of where is my package!
Or they could do something like AMEX GCs do and have free shipping for 90 days.
