They will most likely be gone. You fail to mention your airline, whether you hold any status with them etc...

Try calling the airline and having a decent seat reserved.

I presume you are flying either AA or BA, can't speak for AA but on BA the "good" seats are held back for their own elite passengers, you might be lucky by performing an online checkin on their website 12 hours before the flight but chances of that seat being available are slim...
