I doubt you'll be able to get a re-booking of your award ticket just to take advantage of a new reduced mileage chart (just as AA does not offer refunds so you can take advantage of new lower fare availability on the revenue side).
You could cancel and rebook at the lower reduced mileage rate if there were award availability, but then you'd be subject to an awards redeposit fee, unless you're EXP.
