Living in Toronto, AC takes me to all my required destinations.
It is what it is... being disgruntled does not mean boycott. I'll still fly AC but hold a grudge. The soft product needs some super serious work.
I love AC's hard product. I love their J product (except for HD), I enjoy the J food, I think the MLLs are pretty darn good... but the soft product... can get pretty pathetic at times. AC IT is dreadful.
Basically, in the rare times of real need (read: IRROPS), I often end up fending for myself. I rarely get proactive help. I rarely ask for help. However, a couple weeks ago I was proactively helped by the YVR concierge, which restored some faith and universal order... some.
