Solo traveler at night to Cologne, Germany
I'm heading to Europe in a few weeks, starting and leaving Dublin. Due to an unexpected change, I'm looking to leave Ireland for the duration of the trip. One of the cheaper flights I've found is to Cologne. In light of recent events, would it be safe to travel there? I only ask because it will be at 10pm at night when I arrive at the train station from the airport. I'm an experience traveler, using backpacking through Europe alone every year. I always take caution, but I wanted to know if I should go ahead with Cologne or go elsewhere.
