It just seems based on conversation here people believe they were upgraded prior to checking in and when they arrive and they aren't they get upset.
Why is there no such thing as a "pre-upgrade" ? I have been upgraded in advance before, I have booked standard rooms and a few days before I arrive, they change my reservation to deluxe suites on the spg website. Is this not a pre-upgrade?
