still disappointed they don't regard UA Gift Registry as a legitimate refundable spend category, given the UA Gift Registry, can be utilised for all the regular creditable categories, ie upgrades, excess baggage charges, lounge access, or membership, etc.
You can also use it to purchase tickets, which is not a refundable expense. Using your logic then they should just give you $300 cash since you could use it to pay for eligible expenses
