I voluntarily took a latter flight back in August and got a $500 voucher. I went to book a flight on AA.com yesterday and come to find out the voucher can't be used on the website. I called in and the automated message said I could save at least $35 by booking online. I gave the exact info of the flight I was trying to book online, and over the phone it came out to $71 more. You put the flight on hold. Call the 800 number with the flight and voucher info. You will be directed to mail the voucher into an address in Florida or you can ticket at the airport if you are going to the airport in the next few days. You get the online fare.
