Yes, overall a very good hotel
Which room did you book and which upgrade did you receive?
Booked standard, given top floor Willard King. The hotel was very full (no suites bookable online) so no executive suite for me this time. I booked under FHR so got free breakfast each day and $100 F&B credit.
How are the rooms?
This is a very nice quality room and quite large. It would be called a junior suite at many other hotels. Good views, but on the top floor the windows are smaller.
How is the exec. lounge?
No lounge
Did you receive a welcome gift?
A fruit bowl and a disappointing cheap bottle of California merlot. It probably cost them $3 and it is inappropriate to call that VIP service IMHO.
How was the minibar?
Half bottle of Nicolas Feuillatte Champagne. Red and white wine and the usual selection of alcohol, beer and soft drinks.
What was good and what was bad?
Good service and RA/FHR treatment. The Round Robin bar is excellent as is Café du Parc for breakfast.
RA's do not get premium internet. You have to pay $5 extra.
Value for $ or Priority Club Points?
Yes especially when booking with FHR.
