Hmmm...I'm not convinced. I think in light of Scotiabank buying out Chase last month, this news is a double whammy against the stability of the card. But you never know...maybe Scotiabank will keep it around and this news is good for a potential deal with Marriott.
Whatever ends up happening, I think you're right that the SPG Amex will be changing...maybe even kiboshed - which would be sad...
