Yes, very much

Which room did you book and which upgrade did you receive?
Booked cheapest advance rate and points and was upgraded to a club Phoenician suite .

How are the rooms?
Around 85sqm large
Classic elegant interior design .
Bedroom with very comfortable bed.
Living room with seating area and desk.
Large bathroom with bathtub and separate walk-in shower. L'Occitane amenities
Flat screen television set with large selection of international channels
Very quiet
Kettle and Nespresso machine.
Superb fruits and pastries plates renewed every day.
Balcony
Partial view over the sea.

How is the exec. lounge?
Superb
Great staff
Excellent breakfast and evening option
Guests staying at club room can also have breakfast at the main restaurant (absolutely superb experience)

What was good and what was bad?

GOOD
- Very attentive and smiling staff
- I was welcomed and pampered all my stay long by the very professional Front Office Manager
- Elegant décor and atmosphere
- A true palace experience
- Very pleasant indoor and outdoor pool (with spa)
- Great breakfast (quality of the food and the service), which was offered
- Very pleasant club lounge
- Superb weather
- Beirut is a great city, very impressive for the kindness of the people, the number of trendy places
- Bikes can be rented at Beirut by bike (5 minutes walk from the hotel: nice bikes, but horrible service)
- Free shuttle to the airport and city centre

BAD
- Nothing

Value for $ or IHG Rewards Club Points? Would you return?
Definitely
The hotel is a superb palace with central location and great staff
