I just flew half a dozen legs on MH 777, 330, and 734.

34" pitch on widebodies. 777 seats have PTV's, legrests, lumbar support, 'wings', and yes do have thick seatbacks, but are very comfortable. My first economy flights in a long time without a backache.

330 seats are no frills but are thin, I could cross my legs in Y (I'm about 5'10").

I flew C on 734's, it's similar to US domestic F. Great service on domestic flights.

For some reason, the crew was almost exclusively male, mildly professional, but diligent on the AMS-KUL leg.

All stewardesses on my domestic flights, one of them even spoke French, and all of them were very competent and attentionate.

MH lounges in KUL have showers and hot food. No showers but hot food also in most Malaysian lounges.

The new KLIA Ekspres train shuttle is very good, similar to the HKG one in efficiency and speed. Check-in at XKL (city air terminal) was almost empty.
