I don't mind no amenity kit because it's just extra crap I don't need. I just want the toothbrush. I don't mind the bottle of water not being there since I usually have one with me when board and then it's fine to get one after the meal from the FA.

No they were just....slow. Also the gate went up twice so the cockpit could use the lav. They did the whole 1-4 drinks and then started serving the meals. After each row completely served FA would come out with the bread basket and do the rows that had been served. I'm actually trying to put on weight so I had plenty of things to pick at but if I had to hit the plane right from the hotel w/o being able to pick anything up I would have been growling.
