If I must be quite honest, this is the reason I decided to run this past week. I served my one term (2012 and 2013) and kept my promise (partially to myself) that I would not run for re-election after that term. I did what I set out to do and decided to give someone else a chance.

The public exchange and bickering between TalkBoard members recently reminds me of something that happened in my term when term limits were put in place.

There are mechanisms to deal with TalkBoard members who are incalcitrant or who are unwilling to do the job. Publicly, the TB is part of the TalkTeam and must, just as moderators must, be civil publicly. I promise that I will be if elected to the TalkBoard.
