The good
Nice airport pick up in a benz at the Toyota rate
A comfortable room with a view
Platinum cocktails and snacks. The staff here were the best in the hotel.
The ok
Breakfast. I'm not a huge fan of breakfast buffet and prefer the peace of a lounge but here there is no choice. Good selection although I thought they could have varied it a bit more and maybe have more North Indian options. It was probably only 50% full so not too busy. The service was inconsistent.
Pool. Nice but very small if a few people are in.
The "can do better"
Butlers. Should be renamed room service attendant. Anything other than bringing tea or coffee was a challenge. One even insisted there was no happy hour for Plats!
Service - Inconsistent.
No real upgrade. I was "upgraded" to a premium room which looked exactly like Keysers!
The quirks - Whats in the mini bar is still not what is on the tariff. And to be honest there was hardly anything in the mini bar.
I'm not convinced this hotel will be a good representation of the St Regis brand unless it improves the soft product.
I used a SNA and my upgrade cleared. Very nice looking suite. The service here is very nice and I love the look of their lobby and the 37th floor lounge. Great view.
