I'm disappointed in this devaluation, but you're right, it's probably an inevitable consequence of the number of Aeroplan miles they've been blowing out the door the past few years.
This is going to make it even harder for the average Joe to get any value out of the program. Saved up 20K a year for 5 years for a Europe J reward? Sorry, going to take you another year now.
