I hadn't done them before, but the Hilton Gold promo changed that.

In January, I stayed at the Boston Airport Hilton for Saturday night (got in at midnight), then went to my regular Wyndham assinged through Priceline at 10am and checked in for the other four nights.

In two weeks, I'm splitting the two nights of hotel for my trip to LAX between a Doubletree and a Hilton about a mile apart. For an extra 29,000 miles... it's worth switching hotels!
