Next week (26/09), i'm planning a trip from Budapest to Frankfurt via Munich with RJ 62 / ICE 528. I took a ticket by Europa-Spezial saver fare.
And seeing the situation latterly, even the rail traffic between AT and DE to be resumed until then, it will be a miracle if i succeed to take ICE 528 at Munich.
At this point, my question is if in case of a RJ's delay i can take the next train from Munich to Frankfurt (after ICE 528) without paying any extra cost?

If your first train (RJ62 in your case) is delayed so that you cannot reach IC528, then yes you can use the next suitable train - but - you are required to report at the "Service Point" where you´ll get a stamp on your ticket that cancels the requirement to use the train stated in your ticket.
That stamp will say something like "Zugbindung aufgehoben".
If the next availlable train is leaving just a few minutes after your arrival at Munich you may contact the train guard directly at the train if they´ll accept you without the stamp.
But the proper procedure is to get that stamp before boarding.

at least one ICE every hour going to Frankfurt.
