Thank you, Pierre&Cédric. You don't seem very thrilled about the hotel though (which I understand). Due to the unique location (and history yada yada..) the Ritz will always have its share of the market, however, I'm not sure the hotel takes center stage amongst the best of all Parisian palaces and I very much doubt it can hold a candle to the sheer excellence of the Bristol or George V. And the renovations won't change a thing about it. We'll see, but from what I have heard, and your report, I'm not that enthusiastic.
