Because AA awards between Europe and Asia 2 do not permit a connection in the Middle East. There is an exception if you fly QR from Europe to DOH and from DOH to Asia, but you are not doing that if you are flying LHR-KWI-DOH.
Also, ">" is the symbol for "greater than." AA international awards permit connections of less than 24 hours ("< 24 hours"), not greater than 24 hours ("> 24 hours"). I could not tell from your post which you were asking about.
