Quick update:
I simply walked into the processing center at LAX without appointment.
The officer was extremely nice and firstly congratulated me for obtaining the US citizenship (which was very nice!).
He then swiped my new passport, hacked something into the system and after about 2 minutes told me that all done and I am good to travel.
I checked my GOES account once home and my passport credentials are all accurately inserted into my profile.
