Raffles Makati has Spectrum as as all day informal restaurant. I was not aware that another restaurant was planned for the hotel.
I prefer Makati Shangri-La Horizon Club level. Fantastic Horizon Club staff and good F&B at the Horizon Club Lounge. I agree that rooms could use an update, but they are well maintained. Refresh or refurbishment of various parts of the hotel is scheduled later this year or Q1 2016. Renovation of Inagiku Japanese restaurant and opening of Sage completed last year or so. Renovation of health club and spa just started. SL is definitely investing in future of Makati Shang. Area manager and GM is Alain Borgers who was previously at Paris Shang.
Shangri-La at the Fort is scheduled to open Q4 this year. Residences at Shangri-La at the Fort scheduled to turn over March 2016. Images of hotel rooms and public spaces look impressive.
