My family and I had a nice time during a weekend at the property a few months ago, but it was fairly crowded. I was given a griffin pin at check in to "help the staff recognize my elite status" but I didn't actually wear it. Is there actually any benefit to this?
The griffin pin is sometimes given out to meeting planners and other corporate event staff at the onset of their event. I guess as a shortcut to knowing who is speaking officially for a large event.
I have not ever heard of it being given to someone on a regular hotel stay.
