I'm finding that a lot more of these kind of bookings have to go to the rate desk once or more to get priced properly because AA reps are way more frequently defaulting to say that the trip costs two awards even when it shouldn't (since the carrier has a published fare for the O-D pair that allows the booked routing).
I don't see any examples of that at all in the recent posts in this thread.
