Is there consensus among those that have been to Paris a few times regarding the recommendation above? We are planning a week there, and i had planned on staying at the C-E as this is our first time. But i have read a lot of folks say to stay away from the hotel/street, as the Vendome is better. It will be our first time so we want to make the most of it, is C-E really that bad of a street? Just to give some insight on us when we visit NY we usually stay as close to times square as possible. Hopefully this will help with your recommendations either the Vendome or the C-E. Thanks.
