Annual fee came due last week, called yesterday. Had spent about $6K over the last year on the card. Was offered 500 points immediately plus an opportunity to earn another 1K points if I spend $1K on the card within 60 days. This was my second call and the offer was the same as the first time, so I accepted. Both times they said how "lucky" I was that my annual fee was only $65 instead of the $95 that people will have to pay after Aug 11 when all the new features kick in. I'll probably keep it open for one more year, try to rack up a bunch of SPG points, and then cancel.
