Does it feel like upgrades are more rare than before? That's probably because it is true. During the quarterly earnings call yesterday
Delta indicated that the paid load factor in F was up to 57% last quarter. It was at 13% around the beginning of the decade.
And the goal is to reach 70%.
On the plus side, the cost differential to get up front on a paid basis is much more affordable these days than a decade ago.
