Booked standard, received upgrade to club floor.
How are the rooms?
Room was good. They provided some amenities to help with sleep -- aroma bottles, earplugs. Some noise from LAX as expected. No complaints.
How is the exec. lounge?
Didn't have time to use it, unfortunately. Perhaps as an airport hotel they could have extended lounge hours?
What was good and what was bad?
Good:
- Upgrade to club floor.
- Amenities to help sleep were a nice touch.
- Liked the room.
Bad:
- Had an issue with parking. Asked for in-and-out privileges at the hotel when checking in. Hotel front desk took the ticket from the center and gave me a different one. When I tried to use it the parking center said it wasn't validated by the hotel and charged me to exit. I later went to the front desk and the hotel offset the fee, but it took a while to straighten everything out.
Value for $ or IHG Rewards Club Points? Would you return?
Stayed for 25k points. It was decent, but I'd also consider other area hotels.
