I am hoping this gets rolled out soon (still not extended) as will save me a lot of hassle. My own government's (Ireland) delay to a new passport card (July launch put back to September) means my original plan of getting passport card and then not being concerned about passport being with VFS for a week or so is now a lot less palatable...
