I know "its Surabaya".. but the Novotel is not central at all (and not new either). The Pullman is.
So I'm comparing it to a fairly dated JW Marriott which is charging 30% more - not to the Novotel.
So in my opinion if they would get some things right, they would be able to command a little bit more in their rate.
JW Marriott is usually a step above the Pullman in the scheme of things dated or not. Not entirely surprising it costs higher. Still it's cheap for a JW Marriot.
I don't really know how central Novotel is to be frank. Was deciding between the Pullman or the Novotel, but arriving at an unfamiliar city at midnight, the free airport pick up by Novotel definitely sealed the deal for me.
