I have a Delta Amex Plat card, and I charge $1,000 on it for Serve loads every month.
That spend counts towards the $25,000 min annual spend that Delta wants for me to retain my airline status. It also counts towards the $25,000 spend threshold for getting the 10,000 mileage boost (MQM's + redeemable miles.)
I think f0xx interpreted "mileage boost" to mean the 1 miles per $1 dollar earned for regular spend. For Serve loads, your do not get those regular-spend miles.
