New European Economy Fares [HBO/light topics merged]

I suppose that we have all received this :
It might be a big fight with the hand luggages on board like on US domestic flight.
THey might give you a cap when you have paid full fare which help the other customer know that you have "priority" to store your hand luggages.
No comment on the fact that our status does not give us any advantage !!!!

Starting in summer 2015, Austrian Airlines, Lufthansa and SWISS are introducing a new price concept on European routes: the new Economy Class fares, Light, Classic and Flex, will be available in each booking class. So that you can familiarize yourself with the new features in good time, we're giving you the specific details even before the official announcement.

With the new fares, you can tailor your future trips to suit your individual needs: for example, if many inclusive services such as free seat reservations and free baggage allowance are important to you, then the Classic fare is the right choice for you. If you're only travelling with carry-on baggage and do not require ticket flexibility, you'll travel even more affordably with the Light fare. You can also make an advance seat reservation and book a piece of baggage for an added fee. The Flex fare offers you a high degree of flexibility, such as free rebooking.

You will retain all your familiar status privileges with the Classic and Flex fares. The new Light fare, however, does not include free seat reservation, additional free baggage allowance or free golf equipment allowance. Regardless of your selected fare, the usual amount of award, status and select miles will still be included in every booking class. With the Flex fare you get 50% more award miles as part of a promotion. Of course, status advantages, such as lounge access, will remain unchanged with each of these fares.

In addition to the three new Economy Class fare options, the comfortable and fully flexible Business Class will continue to be available.

You can book the new fares and start travelling with SWISS from 23 June. And starting 28 July you can also book the new fares with Austrian Airlines and Lufthansa for travel from 1 October 2015. Further important information about the new price concept is currently available in your status lounge.

Yours sincerely,
