Taxi to the Willow Street station would be the easiest and most direct (closest to LGB), but the Long Beach Transit Bus 111 that serves the terminal will take you to the Long Beach Transit Mall which is the southern terminus of the Blue Line.

Be sure to get a (35¢ extra)transfer from the LBT driver for the Blue Line.
