yeah I heard the B787-8 will be in service by 2015. I bet they'll cramp in more Y seats hehe...
Yeah, I'm a bit scared of the 787 being more cramped. The 777s are great, especially in the back section of the aircraft. It's way more roomy and comfortable than flying Etihad for instance.
Scoot is a great way to travel compared to regular carriers. It's cheap but frankly I don't get the feel that it's a budget carrier based on the comfort of my travels, since as mentioned it looks like a premium carrier compared to Etihad which I had taken on a similar route. Win-win situation for everyone I guess.
