Just make sure there's wine in it. My father flew out of YKM with an empty wine carrier, intending to bring something back the other direction (relatives live near Napa), and they charged him for it because it didn't have wine in it yet. Got the money back after contacting customer service, but they were very clear that this was a one-time refund.
They asked me a couple of months later during check-in, but I reminded them that as a Gold, it didn't matter.
So if you're planning to do the same, put a token bottle in it.
