I've taken the Narita Express train to Shibuya and walked around for a while. I walked over to Harijuku to the Meji Jingu Shrine. Beautiful area to walk around for an hour.
From there you can take the subway to HND.
Not sure if that's feasible for your, but I found it refreshing to stretch my legs.
