ATL last night. Guy with standing on the corner of the SP rug, DM tag proudly strapped to the top of his Tumi. Talking loudly to anyone who will listen about how hard UGs have gotten. DMs get this, they do this for DMs, etc, etc.
Boarding starts. Pre-boards. Then FC (me, cleared at window as PM). CornerRugGuy spots a couple other tags and exclaims, "Wow, even PMs got upgraded tonight!"
Later, I'm settling into 2C downloading some articles to read, and spot CornerRugGuy coming on board. He says to the FA (and this is almost word for word), "Easy upgrades today, huh? Y'know, I used to be a Diamond."
