So we called back again and for whatever weird/dumb reason they would allow us to spend 2 nights at the Andaz and 8 night at the Regency. We were hoping more 5/5 but at least we will get a couple nights at the Andaz. It seems like every time you call back you get different rules but I guess when booking with points beggers can't be choosers. Now to book the flight
I was able to book any amount of nights on points- check again, BUT those points are gone if you cancel and no changes allowed. Rules below:
