Suggestions for a VX pax on VS award (SFO-LHR)
I just booked a transatlantic crossing in May 2016. I'm hoping to redeem my VX Elevate points on a VS flight from SFO-LHR in Upper Class.
I know that I will need to handle this with VX and they will contact VS for the booking. However, the process is manual and opaque, so I figured the first step is finding out when VS opens up the seats for booking, so i can call VX as soon as they appear to the VS agents that will probably be responding to my guys.
- When do seats appear for redemption? Is this timing the same as they appear to Delta (and might this complicate matters?)
Just wondering if anyone over on this board might be able to offer guidance?
