As a Silver flying mostly in Europe, I feel a bit of a slap in the face on this. The reduction in Tier bonuses and Avios earned will make me rather less of a BA loyalist in future. The benefits of paying more for a BA flight compared to the competition are markedly reduced, or non-existent going forward.
