ERF - Energy Recovery Fee
Anyone know why this charge is even around in the days of sub - $2/gal gas? They knicked me 77 cents a day with it on my last rental. Here's how their website explains it -
"To help recover the escalating energy costs related to our business operations, we must impose a separately stated Energy Recovery Fee (ERF) to all customers at all locations."
Sounds like just a made up hidden tack-on fee to me. Or for that matter, why does it even exist in the first place? We're the ones (the customers) who pay for the gas anyway, not them.
