I personally agree that the wiki listing people who will be there is useless. Were you not in those very shoes years ago? Many of us are not seasoned travelers and use FT as we trust the information we get. Yes, we can look all throughout Google and find answers, but many of those are outdated and contradict each other.
I asked my question earlier as it seemed that people were doing the same-- asking about whatever related to this trip. Other members were more than happy to answer the same question over and over- even I was answering questions even when the answer was on a previous page. I know not everyone enjoys being helpful and taking their time to help inexperienced travelers, but being abrasive towards people who are new doesn't seem like it's the way to go.
