Pilot food is different catering than passenger food.
The pilot meals just happened to have the same muffin as the passenger food that day. Coincidences have happened before. Pilot meals tend to be more substantial than passenger meals.
The cooks must have been lazy today. They were exactly the same in both cases, but on a different tray. One was muffin and fruit the other cereal and fruit.
